Long Island City (Community Boards 1 and 2) has the dirtiest streets in Queens.
The City of New York maintains a running list of complaints
in both community board districts in LIC , which are calculated, monthly and
compared with complaints in other neighborhoods and boroughs.
Those who complain the most, get the fastest results. So your call, email and/or
letter will make a difference.
Public officials, business leaders and newly hired sanitation workers celebrate the opening of the Long Island City Business Improvement District.
To report a complaint about dirty sidewalks, trashcans spilling their contents out onto the street, messy leaflets posted to trees and lampposts, and uncleaned streets, contact 311.
